Terms
We certainly don't want to lay down lots of rules for your stay as we hope you
will have a pleasant and carefree a time as possible, but we have established
the following terms so as to minimise any misunderstandings when you book with
us.Payment and Cancellation.
Payment should be made in full when booking. If you need to cancel you must let
us know in writing. If we are able to re-let the property we will refund your
payment minus 10% plus any expenses we have incurred as a result. We therefore
advise you take out appropriate holiday insurance.
Housekeeping.
Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Electricity is charged at 12
pence per unit. Coal is charged at approximately £1 per large scuttle. Guests
are expected to leave the house clean and tidy on departure.
Care of Property.
We ask that people treat our property with care and respect. Please report any
breakages or damages so these can be replaced. You will be asked to cover the
costs for replacement or repair of any damages or excessive cleaning required.
Dogs.
Dogs are welcome if accompanied by responsible owners. Dogs are not allowed in
the bedrooms or on the furniture and should not be left alone in the house.
Please bring their own towel/blankets/dishes etc and clean up after them.
Right of Admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the property and to require persons
to leave if we consider there is a breach of contract or deem that there is
damage to the property, cause of nuisance, or conduct of an offensive manner.
Complaints.
If you have a problems during your stay, please telephone
us as soon as possible so we can remedy it.
Letting Times.
The usual time of take over is 3.30pm on a Saturday (subject to
unavoidable delays). The property must be vacated by 10am on the final day of
hire. As part of the terms of the let we ask that every reasonable care is taken
of the contents and the property be left in a clean and tidy condition on
departure.
